The UCITE session for Oct. 6 will cover “Digital Security Awareness,” where Tom Siu, chief information security officer, will present and demonstrate a new security awareness video training series to faculty. The series, “Securing the Human,” focuses on people rather than technology for security. Siu also will discuss several other presentations and guest speakers as part of the university’s participation in Cyber Security Awareness Month in October.
The UCITE session will take place Oct. 6 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Herrick Room, on the ground floor of the Allen Memorial Medical Library building.
