The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program will host a talk titled “Truman and Israel” Thursday, Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. at the The Temple-Tifereth Israel (26000 Shaker Blvd., Beachwood).
The talk will explore the behind-the-scenes story of former President Harry Truman’s role in Israel’s 1948 statehood, including the international alliances and relationships he built.
The cost for members of the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program, the Maltz Museum or the temple is $15. The cost for non-members is $25.
