Man breaking cigarette in half

Tobacco cessation group set to begin

Breathe easy this spring and finally end your use of tobacco.

Faculty, staff and students are invited to participate in a free tobacco cessation class held weekly on Thursdays starting right after spring break, from March 23 to May 11. Classes take place from noon to 1 p.m. in the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Room 236.

During this program, led by an experienced cessation educator, participants will assess readiness to end tobacco use. In addition to identifying the barriers to quitting, participants will identify triggers and make plans for behavior change. In this supportive environment, tobacco users can transition to a life free of use.

Get more details about this class and other support for quitting at the Tobacco Cessation page.

Those interested in the class can contact Valerie Clause at vclause@easeatwork.com to register.
