Take the service challenge and become a Civic Engagement Scholar

Become a Civic Engagement Scholar and participate in service opportunities throughout the area.

The Civic Engagement Scholars program is endorsed by President Barbara R. Snyder and designed to promote and recognize meaningful student involvement in the Cleveland community.

Scholars commit to completing 50 community service hours, with at least 25 hours at one site during the academic year. To enhance their learning, scholars also attend five workshops and trainings.

Upon successful completion of the program, scholars will be awarded a Certificate of Distinguished Service and attend a reception hosted by President Snyder.

Apply for the program online by Wednesday, Sept. 14.
