STA Travel to discuss travel, logistical support for study abroad programs

The Office of Education Abroad invites interested faculty or staff to a presentation by STA Travel at 9 a.m. on July 17 in the Tomlinson Hall Conference Room, to discuss travel and logistical support for short-term study abroad programs.

While many faculty have an interest in developing study abroad courses, the logistical aspect—from flights to hotels to in country arrangements—can be daunting.

STA Travel has specialized in helping students make study abroad travel arrangements for years, but also offers interesting services to support faculty and staff as they develop and manage study abroad programs.

Their services range from simply helping students reserve their own flights to preparing full packages for the study abroad program that includes flights, hotels, etc.

The Office of Education Abroad is not endorsing any particular travel agency, but making information about options available to faculty and staff.

To RSVP, email studyabroad@case.edu. Faculty or staff not on campus may still listen to and participate in the presentation by conference call. Note in the RSVP that you want to arrange a call-in.
