Social Justice Research Lunch: Sexual Assault Kits—Changing What We Know About Rape

The first Social Justice Research Lunch of the year will cover “Sexual Assault Kits – Changing What We Know About Rape.”

The lunch will be held Tuesday, Sept. 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room A13.

Rachel Lovell, a senior research associate with the Begun Center for Violence Prevention Research and Education, and Misty Luminais, a senior research associate with the Social Justice Institute, will present during this interactive conversation.

They will explain how research conducted on the backlog of sexual assault kits is changing our understanding of serial criminals, victimization and investigations.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunches, but drinks and desserts will be provided.

RSVP to Lisa Kollins at lbk24@case.edu or 216.368.7568.
