Small businesses are creating jobs—why doesn’t it feel like it?

Forbes: A recent employment index shows that small businesses created 55,000 new jobs in September, equaling a 3.3 percent annualized rate of employment growth at companies with fewer than 20 employees. However, this growth didn’t come until after employment at small companies dropped dramatically between January 2007 and October 2009, writes Scott Shane, A.
