“Single-Payer Health Care: How Does It Work? Could It Work in the U.S.?”

The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program’s next Northeast Ohio Public Policy Forum will feature a discussion titled “Single-Payer Health Care: How Does It Work? Could It Work in the U.S.?”

Some think single-payer health care is the answer to our health care problems, while others think it won’t work and will bankrupt the country. This forum will explore both sides, with an emphasis on how it might impact Northeast Ohio.

Ginger Christ, a health care reporter for The Plain Dealer, will moderate the discussion.

The event will be held Wednesday, April 25, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Lakewood Public Library main branch (15425 Detroit Ave.).

This event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is recommended.
