The seventh annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Student Symposium will be held on Martin Luther King Day, Jan. 16. The program is open to all Case Western Reserve University students.
The student symposium begins with a complimentary lunch at noon in Thwing Center Ballroom, and it will end by 4 p.m. All participants will receive a special MLK Day T-shirt.
This year, the program includes a Poverty Simulation led by VISTA volunteers from Family Community Services in Portage County. The Poverty Simulation is a catalyst for discussion, reflection and action.
