Scopus Training

Five one-hour training sessions on Scopus, the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature, will be held Wednesday, April 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kelvin Smith Library, Room 215.

Scopus, which was recently made available by Kelvin Smith Library, delivers a comprehensive overview of the world’s research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and the arts and humanities. The database allows users to make better research decisions, find leading experts and potential partners and maintain a competitive edge.

The training sessions will be take place during the following timeframes:

  • 9 to 10 a.m.
  • 11 a.m. to noon
  • 1 to 2 p.m.
  • 3 to 4 p.m.
  • 4 to 5 p.m.
