Helen Foley, clinical nurse specialist in the Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, served on a panel to discuss “Palliative Care and Cancer Pain Management,” on Monday, Sept. 23.
During the discussion, panelists describe palliative care and pain management for patients with cancer. The panelists agreed that palliative care should be introduced early in the treatment paradigm in order to be most effective.
