School of Law’s Hoffman presents in Chicago, publishes on electronic health records

Sharona Hoffman, professor of law and bioethics, presented “Critique of Meaningful Use & Certification Regulations,” at the American Health Information Management Association Legal EHR Summit in Chicago in August.Sharona Hoffman

Additionally, her article, “Balancing Privacy, Autonomy, and Scientific Needs in Electronic Health Records Research” will be published in the SMU Law Review. It is co-authored with Andy Podgurski, professor of computer science.
