School of Medicine students host fundraiser for infant mortality awareness

CWRU SOM INFANT MORTALITY AWARENESS FUNDRAISER
In Ohio, there are an alarming number of infants that do not make it to their first birthday. In fact, some Cleveland neighborhoods have infant mortality rates comparable to those of developing countries.
This holiday season, the students at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine are coming together to help combat infant mortality in Cleveland.

NOW THROUGH-DECEMBER 19TH, 2017
We are holding a fundraiser to benefit MomsFirst, a program of the Cleveland Department of Public Health dedicated to combating infant mortality. Their efforts have cut Cleveland’s overall infant mortality rate in half for MomsFirst participants and 100% of the proceeds will be used to help MomsFirst continue their amazing work.
