The New York Times: The Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts has been generalized as pro-business. Jonathan Adler, the Johan Verheij Memorial Professor of Law, is wary of such generalizations of the Roberts court, saying it was “not particularly welcoming to efforts by plaintiffs’ lawyers to open new avenues of litigation, but it has not done much to cut back on those avenues already established by prior cases.”
