Restoration Yoga

Led by trained yoga instructor Katie Nabors, Covenant Student Ministries will offer Restoration Yoga Friday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m. in the Connection Center at Church of the Covenant.

Participants can take this opportunity to pause, as they breathe and stretch, connecting their mind, body and spirit.

While the stress of being a student can lead to burnout, being emotionally balanced can make one aware of and able to manage emotions. It also can help individuals feel more equipped to handle stressors and give them a realistic and positive view of themselves, others and the circumstances in their lives.

The implementation of a regular and mindful breathing practice can help individuals learn how to slow down.

This yoga event is open to all students, staff and faculty of any or no faith tradition.
