Researchers at Case Western Reserve University recently had an article published in The Gerontologist.
Eva Kahana, Distinguished University Professor and the Pierce T. and Elizabeth D. Robson Professor of the Humanities, and Mike Slone and Kaitlyn Barnes Langendoerfer, both doctoral students in the Department of Sociology, authored the article.
In their article, titled “Beyond Ageist Attitudes: Researchers Call for NIH Action to Limit Funding for Older Academics,” the researchers studied ageist responses to a proposed National Institutes of Health grant to fund older scholars.
