Presidents’ Day open house to be largest visit day in recent memory; prepare for higher traffic around campus

CWRU students walk in front of sign on Adelbert RoadCase Western Reserve University’s Presidents’ Day open houses consistently bring large crowds of prospective students and their families to campus, and Monday is shaping up to be the university’s largest visit day in memory.

More than 2,000 students and family members are expected to visit campus this Presidents’ Day, Monday, Feb. 16. Among them are first-time visitors in their sophomore and junior years in high school, as well as students who are looking to make their final enrollment decision, having already been admitted to Case Western Reserve’s class of 2019.

Please plan accordingly for higher-than-normal traffic on the roads around campus, in the parking garages, and in line for coffee and lunch. The bulk of the day’s activities will occur in the Tinkham Veale University Center, and campus sidewalks may become crowded with large tour groups.

The campus community is kindly reminded to treat all visitors with helpfulness and smiles. The Office of Undergraduate Admission thanks you in advance for your help in welcoming these very special guests.
