Poetry reading with Chris Dombrowski to be held Sept. 28

Montana-based poet and river guide Chris Dombrowski will be on campus Sept. 28 for a poetry reading. The free, public reading will be held at 7 p.m. in Clark Hall 206.

Dombrowski is the author of By Cold Water and Fragments with Dusk in Them. His poems have appeared in Colorado Review, Crazyhorse, Denver Quarterly, New Orleans Review, Ninth Letter and Poetry, and have been anthologized in Making Poems and A Joyful Noise, among others. His nonfiction has appeared in such magazines as Orion, Outside and The Sun. A recipient of the Associated Writing Programs’ Intro Award and a Writing Fellowship from the UCROSS Foundation, he has taught creative writing at the 406 Writers’ Workshop, Interlochen Center for the Arts, and University of Montana. He works summers as a river guide on the waters near Missoula, where he lives with his family.
