Pediatrics’ Jonathan Fanaroff says new child obesity calculator likely is right

Childhood obesity calculator may be most accurate predictor yet
CBS News: Researchers in London believe a simple calculation could predict a newborn baby’s odds of becoming an obese child. “That calculation would have an 80 percent chance of being right so it really does a good job,” said Jonathan Fanaroff, associate professor of pediatrics. “Maybe this calculator will get some families who might otherwise not take a healthy lifestyle seriously to take it more seriously.”
