The annual Party on the Quad will take place Friday, July 29, from 3 to 6 p.m. Faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the festivities, which will include food, prizes, music and contests. A university ID is required for admittance.
Many of this year’s activities will be related to the overall theme, “Go Green, $ave Green.” The menu will primarily consist of locally grown and produced fare, and partygoers can play “Bottle Cap” bingo or “Recycle Bottle Toss.” There also will be a corn hole tournament, a karaoke contest and a DJ. This year’s Steps for Staff, a 2-mile walk that benefits the Staff Advisory Council’s Staff Educational Enhancement Program, takes place the same day. The walk will begin at the Veale Center and conclude at the Party on the Quad. All registered walkers will be given “Fast Lane” access to food. Register for the Steps For Staff here.
