Participate in free tobacco cessation program

Improve your health and take strain off of your pocketbook by ending your addiction to tobacco. Faculty, staff and students at Case Western Reserve University are invited to participate in a free tobacco cessation class held weekly on Wednesdays from 1 to 2 p.m. in Thwing Center’s Bellflower Lounge.

The eight-week class will run from Sept. 14 through Nov. 2.

During this program, participants will assess readiness to end tobacco use. In addition to identifying the barriers to quitting, participants will identify triggers and make plans for behavior change. In this supportive environment, tobacco users can transition to a life free of use.

The tobacco cessation page on the wellness website offers details about this and other support for quitting.

Those interested in the class can contact Valerie Clause at vclause@easeatwork.com to register.
