The university community can help grant a child’s wish this holiday season with the Giving Tree in Thwing Center.
The Giving Tree was established to create holiday joy in the lives of more than 100 children who live in the Greater Cleveland area and use the services of Northeast Ohio Neighborhood Health Services Inc.
The Giving Tree will be displayed in the Thwing Center atrium through Wednesday, Dec. 6. Each ornament on the tree will have a child’s wish written on it (maximum value of presents is $25).
Thwing Center administration also will take a speedtype, cash or checks (checks should be payable to CWRU) and do the shopping for you. All gifts should be wrapped with the taped wish ornament attached. Gifts must be returned no later than Monday, Dec. 11.
