Northeast Ohio Public Policy Forums: “Ohio’s Infant Mortality Rate. Why is it So Bad? What Can Be Done?”

The Siegal Lifelong Learning Program’s Northeast Ohio Public Policy Forums continue with a discussion titled “Ohio’s Infant Mortality Rate. Why is it So Bad? What Can Be Done?”

Ohio has one of the worst levels of infant mortality in the country. How is this possible, and what is being done to improve survival rates? The discussion will be thoughtful and reflective of current policy and new thinking for future initiatives.

Brie Zeltner, a reporter with Cleveland.com, will moderate a discussion between panelists.

The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 27, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Public Library (2345 Lee Road, Cleveland Heights).

Registration for this free event is available online.
