Nominate an outstanding professor for Diekhoff award; entries due by Feb. 22

The deadline to nominate an outstanding professor for the John S. Diekhoff Award is Friday, Feb. 22, at 5 p.m.

Sponsored by the Graduate Student Senate and School of Graduate Studies since 1978, the Diekhoff Awards are presented annually to faculty members who have made exemplary contributions to the education and development of graduate students at Case Western Reserve University through work in the classroom, as an adviser or as a mentor.

Nominees and nominators will be invited to attend a formal GSS ceremony in which awardees speak about teaching and mentoring. Each of the four award winners will receive an invitation to a formal awards reception and a plaque and honorarium during the graduate student ceremony at commencement.
