The deadline to nominate a faculty member for the John S. Diekhoff Award is Feb. 22. This award recognizes graduate student professors for outstanding mentoring and teaching.
Students who have been inspired by an exceptional faculty member—teacher or mentor—are encouraged to nominate her or him for the 2013 John S. Diekhoff awards. The nominations should be a statement no longer than 200 words explaining the teacher or mentor’s impact, and should also include:
- Name of the nominee
- Student’s name and position at the university,
- Whether it is a nomination for the Teaching Award (Classroom) or Mentoring Award (Advising/Thesis Research)
