Take part in Relay For Life’s virtual survivor, luminaria programs

Relay For Life CWRURelay For Life invites the campus community to commemorate loved ones who have battled cancer through the virtual survivor and luminaria initiatives.

A virtual survivor is a person who has been diagnosed with cancer, but cannot physically attend Relay For Life due to distance, time, illness, etc. If you know of a survivor who is unable to attend but for whom you would like to walk during the survivor lap at the event, register online.

The campus community also can remember loved ones lost to cancer and honor those battling the disease by dedicating luminaria bags, which are illuminated during the luminaria ceremony at Relay For Life on Saturday, April 20, at 8:30 p.m. The ceremony also includes a picture slideshow. Individuals wishing to share pictures can are invited to send pictures to RFLluminaria@case.edu.

Relay For Life will take place April 20-21 at Coach Bill Sudeck Track in North Residential Village. To learn more, visit students.case.edu/events/relayforlife/.
