New students: Check out this week’s events to help acclimate to campus life

The Office of First-Year Experience and Family Programs will provide a variety of programming throughout the year to help new students continue to acclimate to CWRU and college life, including several special events in the coming week:

Wednesday, Aug. 26

  • Work Smarter, Not Harder: Using Your Technology @ CWRU

  • Fall Convocation 
    4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
    Severance Hall
    Claude M. Steele, the Elaine G. Hadden Distinguished Visiting Author Lecture speaker, will speak at the event. Stelle is the author of this year’s common reading book, Whistling Vivaldi: How Stereotypes Affect Us and What We Can Do (Norton 2010). Learn more about fall convocation online.
