Incoming students: Attend USG Student Activities Fair Aug. 23

In partnership with the Office of First Year Experience and Family Programs, the Case Western Reserve University Undergraduate Student Government (USG) is hosting the annual Student Activities Fair Saturday, Aug. 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Getting involved with student organizations is one of the best ways to help new students ease their transition to Case Western Reserve and to succeed in college. Student organizations help students meet new people, try new activities, hone their skills and interests and unwind.

During Orientation, the USG Student Activities Fair will give students a chance to connect face-to-face with groups that pique their interest. Representatives of organizations dedicated to everything from service to performance, cultural exploration to athletics, will be on hand to tell students about their group.

Students are encouraged to attend Student Leadership Council’s “200 organizations and 1 you: Your guide to getting involved on campus,” which is a session during New Student Orientation to help guide new students to make a plan for how they will get involved in student activities on campus.

Case Western Reserve has more than 150 different student organizations. A list of is available at students.case.edu/activities/involvement/organizations.html.
