New video conferencing option available on campus

Zoom is the next generation of online video conferencing available at Case Western Reserve University. With Zoom, users experience cloud video conferencing, online meetings, group messaging and a virtual conference room solution in one, easy-to-use platform.

Zoom allows the university community to host and join unlimited video conferences and calls from computers and mobile devices, offering video, audio and wireless screen-sharing experience across Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS, iOS, Android, Blackberry, Zoom Rooms and H.323/SIP room systems.

University Technology ([U]Tech) scheduled three training webinars with experts from Zoom to introduce its features to the CWRU community. Join a session at the most convenient date and time by visiting success.zoom.us/j/509773471.

Training sessions will be held:

  • Thursday, July 20, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, July 25, from 11 a.m. to noon
  • Tuesday, August 1, from 11 a.m. to noon

Registration is not required for these sessions.
