New IRB system to be implemented March 2018

SpartaIRB, the new electronic Institutional Review Board (IRB) research protocol submission system for both Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals, is nearing completion and will be fully implemented in March 2018. The new system is designed to be more user-friendly, making the process of submitting to the IRB easier and more straightforward.

In March, data will be transitioned from the current systems (cwru-iris.case.edu and cortex.case.edu) into SpartaIRB. Active users will receive more targeted communication via email, the current IRB systems and IRB staff. Updates and extensive training opportunities are available to help researchers navigate the new system.
