The Northeast Ohio African American Library and Culture Center will host a thought-provoking art exhibit depicting black-on-black violence, “Kin Killin’ Kin,” at the Art Studio April 8-20.

Dayton artist James Pate created the exhibit as his personal protest against gun violence in the black community.

The university community can meet Pate at the exhibit’s opening reception Friday, April 8, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Art Studio.
