National Student Book Collecting Contest winners reception

Join Kelvin Smith Library in celebrating the winners of the National Student Book Collecting Contest. A reception to honor the contest winners will be held Friday, April 28, at 4 p.m. in the library’s Dampeer Room.

The student winners are:

  • Grand prize: Katharine Rogers
  • Second prize: Evan Cerne-Iannone
  • Third prize: Dominica Rollins
  • Honorable mentions: Sherri Bolcevic, Gabriel Murcia and Cara R. Coleman

Refreshments will be served and books from the winning collections will be on display. The reception is free and open to the public.

The contest was part of the National Collegiate Book Collecting Contest, sponsored by the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America. Julia Gelfand and David Lang provided sponsorship for the contest. Contest judges were: Bill Claspy, Julia Gelfand, Susan Hanes, Bob Rawson and Tom Slavin.
