Medicine’s Eileen Anderson-Fye publishes article on sociocultural influences on body image, eating disorders

Eileen Anderson-Fye, associate professor of bioethics and adjunct associate professor of psychiatry, used her two decades of research to re-theorize the effects of sociocultural factors on body image and eating disorders.

The piece, titled “Cultural Influences on Body Image and Eating Disorders,” was published in The Oxford Handbook of Eating Disorders. Anderson-Fye also directs the Bioethics Master’s Degree and Medicine, Society and Culture programs at CWRU.
