A campus community luncheon will kick off Black History Month Monday, Feb. 1, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
The kickoff celebration is themed “Hallowed Grounds: Sites of African American Memories.”
Marilyn S. Mobley, vice president for inclusion, diversity and equal opportunity, will give opening remarks. Donna Davis Reddix will sing the Black National Anthem.
