Lisa Nielson is this year’s winner of The Richard A. Bloom, M.D. Award for Distinguished Teaching in the SAGES Program. The award was established in 2008 to honor distinguished teaching in the SAGES program at Case Western Reserve University.
Nielson is the Anisfield-Wolf SAGES Fellow and leads SAGES seminars on issues of race and diversity.
