Liming Dai elected to AIMBE College of Fellows

Liming Dai, Kent Hale Smith Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, was recently elected to The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering’s College of Fellows Class of 2012. Dai’s peers nominated him because of his pioneering achievements and outstanding contributions in the research, development and biomedical appLiming Dailications of carbon nanomaterials.

The College of Fellows comprises the top 2 percent of medical and biological engineers in the country, according to the institute.

A formal induction ceremony will be held during AIMBE’s 21st Annual Event at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, D.C., Feb. 12.
