Faculty Development, Latina/o Alliance of Northeast Ohio to host writing retreat for faculty March 18

The Office of Faculty Development and the Latina/o Alliance of Northeast Ohio (LANO) invites Latina/o faculty, and faculty whose scholarship or research engages Latina/o populations or communities (within or outside the U.S.), to participate in a one-day writing retreat Friday, March 18, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Thwing Center’s Cleveland Room. All faculty members, regardless of race or ethnicity, are invited to participate in the writing retreat, which will include time for peer discussion.

LANO, an Ohio, Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia Higher Education Recruitment Consortium (HERC) program, is an initiative to improve recruitment, retention and collaboration of Latina/o faculty and staff in higher education across our region. HERC member institutions participating in LANO include CWRU, Oberlin College, Cleveland State, Kent State and the University of Akron.

Coffee and lunch will be provided at the retreat.
