Aspirin may reduce risk of repeat blood clots

WebMD: A study recently found that a low dose of daily aspirin may help prevent the recurrence of deadly blood clots. “What this study showed was, if you put these patients on aspirin you have a 40 percent reduction in recurrence,” said Alvin Schmaier, the Robert W. Kellermeyer Professor of Hematology and Oncology. “That’s quite startling and quite helpful.”
