International rankings open forums

Consultant Dan Guhr will present his recommendations regarding Case Western Reserve University’s international ranking standing in two open forums this week. Both forums are open to the entire CWRU community.

The forums will be held:

  • Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room; and
  • Thursday, Oct. 19, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in Allen Memorial Medical Library’s Ford Auditorium.

Guhr and his company, Illuminate Consulting Group, have spent the last few months analyzing CWRU’s place in the rankings that measure world universities. While CWRU continues to thrive in national rankings, such as those by U.S. News and World Report, the university faces a different type of challenge in showcasing its strengths in the international rankings arena.

The report, which will be highlighted in the forums, details ways in which CWRU has been successful, ways that the university can improve and strategies for moving forward.
