Health Disparities Dinner

Did you know one in 10 individuals are affected by kidney disease or other related kidney issues? Kidney disease is much more prevalent than many believe, and its related disparities are prominent within the Cleveland community.

Come out for Advocates for Cleveland Health’s semi-annual Health Disparities Dinner Thursday, Nov. 9, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in the Thwing Center ballroom.

This hackathon-style event is designed for you to learn about the disparate effects of issues relating to chronic kidney disease, dialysis and organ donation. Learn what you can do to get involved with kidney health in the Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland communities.

Advocates for Cleveland Health will have representatives from the School of Medicine, Lifebanc and the Kidney Foundation to facilitate the event.

The event is free, with a full dinner from Aladdin’s Eatery available for $5.
