Get tips for applying to NSF CAREER Award with Grant Writing Program; information session to be held Jan. 15

Faculty members who plan to apply for a National Science Foundation (NSF) CAREER Award are invited to participate in Grant Writing Program meetings to be held biweekly February through June.

The writing program provides support, accountability and feedback on grant proposals, as well as resources such as visits from campus experts on assessment and other components of grant proposals. The CAREER program also will include a mock panel.

The program will meet every other Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. in Thwing Center’s Cleveland Room beginning Tuesday, Feb. 9. The Cleveland Room will be reserved on select Fridays from 12:30 to 2 p.m. for additional writing time. Meeting dates and additional information will be posted on the Office of Faculty Development website.

An informational meeting will be held on Friday, Jan. 15, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in Thwing Center’s Cleveland Room.
