The Department of Art History and Art will host two exhibitions showcasing faculty work and works from the summer semester.
The Art Studio/Art Education Faculty Exhibition and Summer Semester in Review Art Exhibition will open Monday, Sept. 24. The Summer Semester in Review Art Exhibition opened Sept. 13. Both will be on view through Friday, Oct. 12, and a reception will be held Monday, Sept. 24, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Art Studio gallery.
The faculty exhibition will feature works in ceramic, textile, design, painting, drawing, architecture, enamel and photography from the following artists:
- Al Aitken;
- Sally Levine;
- Jared Bendis;
- Martha Lois;
- Jerry Birchfield;
- Adriel Meyer;
- Margaret Fischer;
- Sandra Noble;
- Judy Flamik;
- Chris Pekoc;
- David King;
- Tim Shuckerow;
- George Kozmon; and
- Barney Taxel.
The summer semester-in-review exhibition will feature photography from the following artists:
- Lindsey Kaydo;
- Jenna Hahn;
- Benita Glamour; and
- Carol Lee.
There will also be works in ceramics from the following artists:
- Aundraya Dain;
- Rachel Manning;
- Cecelia Price;
- Simone Perry;
- Judy Flamik; and
- Peyton Young.
