Three members of the Case Western Reserve community had photographs selected for display in the Firelands Association for the Visual Arts (FAVA) six-state photography show in Oberlin, Ohio. A public reception and awards ceremony was held March 3, and the gallery remains open through March 30.

Al Aitken, photography instructor, had two images in the show: “Trees” and “Forest.”

Aitken’s independent study student, Linda Saju, a third-year biology major and photography minor, had one image selected, titled “Nightmares.”

Susan Griffith, senior media-relations specialist, had two images in the show: “The Bird’s Story” and “Clouds and Tree.” Her “Clouds and Tree” image was awarded the Geisel Mechanics Award, explained as the special selection from the show.
