Environmentally friendly home in University Circle to test no-furnace concept

Cold-weather Cleveland to test no-furnace concept

Associated Press: The Cleveland Museum of Natural History built the PNC SmartHome Cleveland, a $500,000 environmentally friendly house in University Circle without a furnace or air conditioner. In October, the house will be sold as a private residence and moved to overlook the athletic fields of Case Western Reserve University. The city councilman said the university is one of the reasons the area will be attractive to potential buyers.
