YeongAe Heo, an assistant professor of civil engineering, was selected as a 2018 American Society of Civil Engineers ExCEEd Fellow. Heo also is a National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine Gulf Research Program Early-Career Research Fellow.
The ExCEEd Teaching Workshop is a six-day practicum that provides engineering educators with an opportunity to improve their teaching abilities. ASCE has presented this workshop each summer for the past 19 years.
Heo and other fellows will meet at the United States Military Academy at West Point Sunday, July 22, through Friday, July 27, to participate in a workshop on teaching civil engineering.
