Rigoberto Advincula, professor of macromolecular science and engineering, was elected to membership in the National Academy of Science and Technology of the Philippines, one of the highest honors the country awards scientists. Advincula was officially inducted at the Investiture Ceremony in Manila last month, as part of academy’s 40th annual Scientific Meeting.
