Engineering professor Alexis Abramson selected to work with DOE

Alexis Abramson, associate professor in mechanical and aerospace engineering, has been selected to work with the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Building Technologies Program at the Department of Energy in Washington, D.C., to provide assistance with strategic planning of programmatic and technology transfer activities. Abramson brings technical expertise in energy research and experience with technology commercialization that will be leveraged to help the Building Technologies Program with road mapping, project development and review. Her one-year appointment with DOE begins July 15; she will return to Case Western Reserve University after her year with DOE.
