Eleven staff members earn CAPS certificates in financial management

On July 15, 11 staff members received Certificates of Achievement in Financial Management as part of the Case Western Reserve University Administrative Professionals Series (CAPS) program.

Recipients were: Nilda Baker, School of Medicine, Development & Alumni Relations; Christine Damukaitis, General Accounting; Debra Bush, Sponsored Projects Administration; Caroline Cheetham, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences; Suzanne Foss, Department of Physiology, Biophysics and Neurology; Camilla Gaitor, General Accounting; James Gannon, Sponsored Projects Administration; Kimberly Linger, Weatherhead School of Management; Lila Robinson, Weatherhead School of Management, Organizational Behavior; Donna Stewart, Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing; and Kallisto Vimr, Department of History.

This is the fourth group to receive certificates since the program started in April 2009, bringing the number of recipients across campus to 61. Certificates are awarded twice per year. Recipients must master the competencies around Peoplesoft and the university’s financial policies, said John Sideras, senior vice president for finance and chief financial officer.
