All members of the campus community are invited to attend a special ethics table brown bag lunch session, hosted by the classics department in honor of Vergil Week.

A discussion titled “To spare the subjected and crush the conquered: perspectives on Aeneid XII” will examine the justice of wartime killing.

The Ethics Table discussion will be held April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Thwing Center’s Meeting Room A. Attendees, especially students, are encouraged to come for all or part of the time. Attendees should bring their own lunches; coffee and cookies will be served.

After this meeting, the ethics table brown bag lunches will be on hold until fall semester and reconvene the second week of class at the same time, day and location each week.

Further information can be found on the ethics table website.
