The Ohio Dental Association Foundation awarded more than $26,000 in scholarships and grants to Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine students. Kate Cartwright, a third-year dental student, received the Dr. Burton P. Siegel Scholarship, totaling $8,013. The one-time scholarship is awarded to an Ohio dental student who excels academically and has a strong history of volunteerism.
Additionally, Julia Salmeron, third-year dental student, received a $6,000 scholarship; fourth-year Bethany Doroghazi received a $5,000 scholarship; Jessica Chrzanowski, in her second year of dental school, earned a $4,000 scholarship; and second-year Noor Almudallal earned a $3,000 scholarship.
